Cyanide Bottle Roll Test
A cyanide bottle roll test is the industry standard initial stage in assessing the gold recovery possible by cyanide leaching.
During a bottle roll test, prepared ore is gently agitated in a cyanide solution. Oxygen levels, alkalinity, lime consumption, cyanide consumption and other parameters are monitored and strictly controlled throughout the test. Test results provide information on expected recovery rates, reagent costs, and required addition rates.
The results from a cyanide bottle roll test provide an accurate indication of the results you can obtain from your pilot plant and commercial scale leach circuit.
Grinding Solutions will firstly assess all information available including mineralogy, detailed chemical analysis, or previous metallurgical data to plan the initial cyanide conditions for investigation, or in absence of this data perform a standard cyanide leach test. As your project moves forward these conditions will be continually optimised to arrive at a set of final leach conditions for your ore type.
These conditions can then be applied across a range of samples taken from your deposit to allow you to geometallurgically map the response to cyanidation. These can then be factored into your mine plan to optimise the initial payback phase or to highlight problem areas of your deposit that require additional investigation.

- Recovery of Gold and other metals (e.g. silver, copper,..)
