Petrolab are specialists in the mineralogical investigation of mineral resources and manufactured inorganic materials and has provided technical support to the mining, mineral processing and materials industries worldwide for over 20 years. Coalition for Energy Efficient Comminution (CEEC)

The Coalition for Energy Efficient Comminution looks to accelerate the transfer of information, knowledge and technology with the aim of reducing processing costs and increasing value as a result of improved comminution practices. As an advocate for CEEC, Nick assists in promoting and informing the industry of CEEC’s goals.

Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3)

The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is a UK engineering institution whose activities encompass the whole materials cycle, from exploration and extraction, through characterisation, processing, forming, finishing and application, to product recycling and land reuse. All of Grinding Solutions’ technical staff are members of the IOM3.

Cornish Mining Alliance (CMA)

Cornwall has a long and successful history of mining, quarrying and mineral processing. The Cornish Mining Alliance, of which Grinding Solutions is a member, is an alliance of approximately 70 Cornish companies who work in the mining and energy industries. By connecting these experts, the CMA looks to help to provide for the right person for the job.

Camborne School of Mines (CSM)

The Camborne School of Mines is a world-class mining and geoscience school, rich in history and culture and is now part of the University of Exeter. A number of Grinding Solutions staff have associations with CSM, either having graduated from the school or having family members who have and Grinding Solutions works closely with CSM on everything from student work experience to research and development programmes. Nick has been the Chairman of the CSM Alumni for the last 29 years and is also Vice-Chairman of the CSM Trust.
