Project: Industrial Minerals Plant Expansion

GSL was involved in the initial concepts, design and commissioning for a major plant expansion in both dry and wet processing routes for a major industrial minerals supplier to enable an increase in their fine product portfolio. Plant throughput was improved and the plant availability was increased through production planning and a planned maintenance procedure. The client also increased their product portfolio and output by selling coarse products from the mine site. Our laboratory was instrumental in developing some of the process parameters for the expansion and development of new products.
