Locked Cycle Testing
Locked Cycle and Pilot Plant
Locked cycle and pilot plant scale testwork can be undertaken to test the stability and robustness of devised circuit configuration over a multitude of cycles. Locked Cycle tests are essential in determining theĀ likely plant grades/recoveries once the system has achieved steady state with regards the re-circulating loads.
Locked Cycle
Locked Cycle tests monitors grade/recovery throughout a number of cycles to assess whether metallurgical performance is maintainable across multiple cycles. Following Locked Cycle testing a full metallurgical balance can be derived and plant performance projections.
The GSL locked cycle test methodology has been refined over time in order to achieve as much as data as possible from a single test. Analytical tools in addition to chemical assay, such as particle size analysis and optical analysis on concentrates, allow for broad range of information to be gathered.
Pilot Plant
Pilot plant testing can be undertaken to assess the performance of a full scale plant. Operating continuously for the test period, the sampling campaign gives an overview of metallurgical performance.
