Oscar Holsworth a sixth form Truro School student has just completed a weeks work experience placement with GSL Ltd. Oscar has studied geology and chemistry as well as other subjects at AS level, and is interested in continuing geology to undergraduate level. He came to GSL to get experience of working within the mining and mineral processing industry. During the week Oscar worked on a variety of mineral processing projects which allowed him to experience a range of processing techniques such as classification, comminution, and varied mineral separations including mineral flotation.
