GSL can offer a range of geometallurgical services to help refine block models during the resource estimation process and aid in mine-to-mill optimisation.
Using our comminution, flotation, gravity separation, cyanide leaching and biohydrometallurgy facilities we can carry out the testwork required to determine variables that are good first-order indicators of metallurgical performance. By correlating these to more detailed test work we can provide the data needed to populate a block model to allow an integrated and predictive approach to your mine planning.
For very early stages of exploration projects when limited or no sample is available for metallurgical testing we can offer a number of services that allow approximation of process response. These analyses can be carried out on thin section images and as such they could be part of exploration projects when otherwise the focus would be solely on the geological aspects of a prospect. This way we can help you set up a more targeted exploration programme, making the most of your available resources and increasing the chances of successfully developing a project.
