GSL has received its new laboratory hydrocyclone test rig. The hydrocyclone test rig forms part of an investment in a number of pieces of new mineral processing laboratory equipment which will allow GSL to extend and improve its range of services.
The test rig will accommodate a range of hydrocyclone sizes from 2 inch down to smaller sizes, this will allow for cyclone tests on a number of sized cyclones covering a wide variety of cut sizes.
The hydrocyclone test rig can also be operated in circuit with the GSL SMD mills to simulate plant grinding and classification circuits, as well as increasing the pilot scale capabilities of the laboratory.
