Enhanced (multi-G) gravity separators such as the Mozley MGS, Falcon and Knelson make use of centrifugal forces to enhance the gravitational forces acting on particles and enable a sharper separation of minerals based on their specific gravity. This makes them especially suitable for processing of feeds that are too fine for conventional gravity separation techniques or where the difference in mineral specific gravity is small.
